The Creative Commission was founded by Kristen Lievanos, shaped by over a decade of experience in church media, production, and creative leadership.

For more than 10 years, Kristen served in full-time ministry as a broadcast director, producer, videographer, editor, and trainer — leading teams, building live production systems, and developing emerging creatives in both live and post-production environments.

That foundation shaped a standard of excellence that now carries into commercial and brand work.

Since transitioning into The Creative Commission, Kristen has partnered with businesses, schools, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs to produce campaigns, event coverage, brand content, and strategic content creative direction. Her work has supported large-scale initiatives and public-facing campaigns, including billboard features and high-visibility brand content.

The Creative Commission exists to bring that level of production, clarity, and intentional storytelling to every project.

We exist in two lanes.

First, we serve businesses, brands, and entrepreneurs by removing the weight of content creation. Through photography, video, and short-form content, we help brands show up with clarity, consistency, and intention — whether through ongoing management, campaigns, or one-time projects.

Second, we equip creators.

Through YouTube content, courses, coaching, and creative resources, we help videographers and editors grow in skill, confidence, and opportunity. Our goal is to help creators not only improve their craft, but learn how to thrive in the creative industry.
